晶娜1988年出生于北京，目前在纽约工作。

曾任英联邦运动会运动员并获奖牌。就读于新加坡莱弗士女校及拉萨尔艺术学院。19岁毕业后出版了第一本摄影集《Something Beautiful》。

之后，晶娜的作品登上了国际版《Vogue》《Elle》和《Harper's Bazaar》。她的个展登上新加坡艺术之家和日本创意中心；群展 “45 Frames from Photo Vogue”在米兰Leica画廊展出，和Kris Kuksi合作的“Your Favorite Artist's Favorite Artist”在纽约Joshua Liner画廊展出。

晶娜2007年被摄影大师协会评为 “年度摄影大师”，2011年荣获新加坡ELLE大奖“年度摄影师”，也是2015年第七届朱莉娅.玛格丽特.卡梅隆女摄影师奖受奖者之一。

晶娜目前在制作《Motherland Chronicles》一书，她也在创建一个专门为艺术家打造的社交平台。在闲暇时，她喜欢高达系列，看书，玩《星际争霸2》。
